Clinical Services Administrator

Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our well-established Clinical Services team. This role has a variety of elements such as:
- Providing effective administration support within the Clinical Services team across all sites of Adur Health Partnership.
- Proactively inviting patients for health reviews & monitoring, vaccinations, screening and follow-up using a variety of clinical systems (including EMIS Web) and record and update information into medical records.
- Duties performed by the post holder will assist the practice in achieving targets and comply with enhanced service requirements.
- Applicants must be able to adapt to change and adjust role according to new services relating to Quality & Outcomes Framework and commissioned services.
The successful candidate must be able to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines, with strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to contribute as a valued member of a well-established team. Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner are essential, along with strong IT skills, including a basic knowledge of Excel. Previous experience in a GP surgery is desirable but not essential, provided the candidate can demonstrate suitability for the role in their CV and covering letter.

Lead Clinical Pharmacist

Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to Lead our Pharmacy Team. Our pharmacy team consists of 3 pharmacists, 2 pharmacy technicians and 2 pharmacy care co-ordinators. The team are based at our Northbourne site, but the pharmacists do clinics across 3 of our sites, which are in close proximity.
The role is predominantly clinical, providing face to face and phone medication reviews. It is advantageous, but not essential, for the candidate to be an independent prescriber and have completed the CPPE pathway. The pharmacist will also be involved in quality improvement work, audit and practice education. They will have a named pharmacy technician to supervise and will take a lead role in supporting the team. They will assist the technicians and care co-ordinators with medicines reconciliations and medicines monitoring when necessary. With the support of our executive and HR colleagues, they will contribute towards the appraisal and review process for their team. They will have a GP supervisor with protected time to regularly meet.
